Currency and cards
The local currency is Polish Zloty – PLN (Zloty).
In circulation there are banknotes with values 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 Zlotys and coins with values:

Major cards (VISA, Euro card, Maestro, MasterCard) are widely accepted, there is an extensive network of ATMs available throughout the city.

You can exchange your money in the special places called KANTOR. Check the proposed exchange rates. We do not recommend you the exchange of the large sums at the airport.

Arriving by plane
Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is located in the south-west part of Warsaw on Żwirki i Wigury Street, which is the artery directly leading to the airport.

Bus line No. 175 runs all week from 05:50 to 23:05. and connects the airport with the most of the hotels located at the city center:

Transfer from the airport by taxi
Use licensed taxi services offered at Chopin Airport. Taxi tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window.
Taxis are available outside and cost of tour to the city center, where most of hotels are located, should not exceed 50 PLN (approx. 12.5 EUR) and takes approx. 20minutes if no traffic jams, otherwise trip could extend even to one hour.
Arriving by train
Main railway station "Warszawa Centralna" (Central Station) is located in the city center. From the Warszawa Centralna Station taxi to the hotels in the city center or conference venue costs approximately 20-30 PLN (about 5-7 EUR) and takes 10 minutes.

Tickets are available in newspapers kiosks also at the airport. In order to get to the hotel by bus you need to buy one way single fare ticket for 3.60 PLN(approx. 0,90 EUR) for each kind of municipal transport, i.e. bus or tram or metro standard fares are equal. Standard single fare ticket (valid for all day lines and night lines) amounts per person and entitles to a journey on one vehicle from validation to the final stop on the line or to the embarkation stop. Transport of standard luggage is free. Tickets must be purchased before the journey - it is possible to buy them in the buses and trams from the driver. The ticket should be validated immediately after boarding the vehicle.
On the day of registration the Organizing Committee will provide you two 3-day tickets, which entitles to unlimited number of journeys for three days from its validation until 23:59 of the last day. It is valid for the day and night lines. During the first journey the ticket should be validated immediately after boarding the vehicle. When travelling by metro, you should validate the ticket at the entrance gate before entering the platform, or in the validating machine available next to the lift.
